Concerted Aversion is telling its tales,
committing its daily injustice in swells.
While cops on the beat are citizens too,
committing injustice, to all, but the few.
If we can’t then charge them for committing their crimes, this justice averted, reflects on our times.
This sickness of soul, that I just can’t believe,
to think that he’s screaming "Please, I can’t breathe!"
Concerted Aversion, still telling its tales,
impressing its thumbs on justice’s scales.
Spectators, thus issue, their willful dissent,
the cops on the street seem easy, content.
If they can’t be charged for committing their crimes, this justice averted, reflects on our times.
This sickness of soul, that I still can’t conceive,
to think, they’re all screaming "Please, he can’t breathe!"
As justice averted is justice deprived,
inverted, perverted hearts beating inside.
Depraved indifference is malice intent,
and uniformed cops, must therefore present,
the best of our hopes, our wishes for peace,
or our dreams, our humanity, may therefore be brief.
