Days End I

Ships at Sunset, Mauritz Frederick Hendrick de Haas

As if there was an end to be,

as time is spent, we’ll surely see

the friends we’ve met along the way,

ensuing days shall melt away.

The essence of our nature goes,

that in our time, and common woes;

we’ll end our days, and surely show,

to whom we’ve come to truly know.

From yonic wonders, life is sent,

unto the time where we all went;

as social grace informs our number,

melodies assure our slumber.
